Description: This layer shows species of greatest conservation need (SGCN) fish and mussel occurences from the 2015 Wildlife Action Plan (WAP) species list, summarized by SCDRS basins. These occurances are from streams and inalnd lakes and exclude occurences from the St. Clair River, Lake St. Clair, and Detroit River. Fish data are historical occurences from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Fish Collection System (FCS) and Michigan Fish Atlas. Mussel data are from the Michigan Natural Features Inventory (MNFI), the University of Michigan, Central Michigan University, and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quailty (now the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy)
